Early Dismissal
Due to the forecasted excessive heat and out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of our students and staff, Bristol Public Schools will have an emergency early dismissal, today, Wednesday, May 20, 2026.
PM-Pre K is cancelled and All Afterschool activities are cancelled, with exception to the following:
Middle School and High School Athletics will follow their respective heat protocols
Afterschool Care for Boys & Girls Club will remain open until 4:00pm
All schools will dismiss according to the following inclement weather schedule:
Parent Teacher Conference/Inclement Weather Including Wednesday

Full Day PreK-9:05 - 1:15
K-5 Schools-9:10 – 1:15
Middle & K-8 Schools-8:10 –12:41
BAIMS -8:15 –12:46
